Manufacturing Technician – Second Shift

? This is a long-term contract position with a strong possibility of being hired directly by the customer based on performance and business needs
? Pay Rate: $17.60/hour
? Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2:00 PM – 10:30 PM
Note: Available for 1st-shift orientation during initial week worked.
Position Summary
We are seeking Manufacturing Technicians for 2nd shift opportunities at a leading Medical Diagnostic company in Hazelwood, MO. This position involves operating high-speed production and packaging equipment in a cGMP environment. You’ll be responsible for equipment setup, operation, inspection, maintenance, and cleaning, as well as completing production batches and documentation.
Key Responsibilities - Operate and maintain high-speed manufacturing/packaging equipment.
- Follow approved Manufacturing Directions and SOPs.
- Complete batch records, AQL inspections, reworks, and material reconciliation.
- Assist with validation protocols and documentation.
- Maintain cleanliness per cGMP regulations.
- HMI/SCADA systems and learn fork truck operation
- Adhere to all safety protocols and use appropriate PPE.
Qualifications - High School Diploma or GED required.
- 1–2 years of experience in an FDA-regulated, GMP-compliant manufacturing environment preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret technical documentation.
- Comfortable standing 8–12 hours and lifting 20–50 lbs.
- Ability to push wheeled cages up to 600 Lbs. and perform repetitive motions.
- Basic computer skills. Willing to work overtime
Work Environment - Cool, production areas with regular noise
- PPE includes gloves, hairnets, gowns, safety glasses, and hearing protection.
- Occasional exposure to environmental odors.
Estimated Min Rate : $17.60
Estimated Max Rate : $17.60
