Horizon Environmental is a privately owned environmental services business based in Houston, Texas and provides nationwide emergency response, environmental remediation, industrial cleaning, transportation and disposal, environmental consulting and environmental product sales to a multitude of industries.
Horizon is seeking an Account Executive who enjoys “hunting” for the next big opportunity in the environmental services industry. We are in search of a high-energy, detail-oriented, self-motivated individual to join our sales team in Houston, TX and truly make a difference with our customer diversification. This is a position for a determined confident professional that wants to make a difference in helping a business grow. Employment to begin as soon as a candidate is identified.
As an Account Executive, you will be responsible for maintaining and growing a client base with, exploration & production, pipeline, marine, transportation, petrochemical, and industrial clients. Particular favor will be given to applicants with book of business contacts in one or more of the above-described industry markets.
Responsibilities:
· Achieve annual sales and profit objectives for the territory.
· Obtain new business in the industrial cleaning, environmental services and emergency response markets.
· Develop and present personalized sales presentations to professional audiences in an effort to demonstrate how Horizon’s experience and qualifications will provide value to their business.
· Establish positive long-term client relations through scheduling and conducting meetings with corporate clients.
· Develop new business opportunities in industrial cleaning, environmental services and emergency response markets.
· Assist with bid development and creation for all potential and existing clients.
· Make proper & timely postings as instructed by management on all online social media accounts in accordance with company marketing efforts.
· Provide timely and accurate reporting of pipeline, account plans and territory management activities as required by management.
· Maintain knowledge of competitors, industry trends, and Horizon Environmental services.
· Attend conferences and trade shows as required.
Requirements:
· BA in Marketing or Business Degree required.
· Prefer 3-5 years of work experience. Industry (industrial cleaning, environmental services, emergency response, transportation services, etc.) experience preferred.
· Well-developed multi-tasking, organizational skills, and attention to details are key to success.
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
· Professional appearance, attitude, and self-starter work ethic a must.
· You must be willing to cold call and feel comfortable in establishing new accounts on a daily basis.
· Must demonstrate sound judgment and decision-making ability.
· Computer proficiency in MS Office Suite, CRM (Hubspot), and internet functions.
· Must be able to travel within the coverage area, overnight travel and occasionally nationwide.
· Must be able to pass background, drug test and have a clean Motor Vehicle Record.
