Job Title: Ambulatory Surgery Center (ASC) Clinical Manager - Ophthalmology

Location: Denver

Salary range : $95,000-$115,000

Position Overview:

Indenovo is partnered with an established, multi-state ophthalmology group backed by Private Equity, seeking an experienced ASC Manager with a robust background in ASC management to lead a high-volume ophthalmology surgery center. The ideal candidate will bring a thorough understanding of ASC operations, with the ability to quickly adapt and excel in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee Daily Operations: Supervise pre-op, intra-op, and post-op care to ensure safe and efficient patient experiences.
• Implement Sterile Processing Standards: Ensure all surgical instruments and equipment comply with safety protocols.
• Collaborate with OR Team: Work closely with RNs and surgical techs to maintain best practices in ophthalmic surgery.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure adherence to CMS, AAAHC, OSHA, and state regulations for ambulatory surgery centers.
• Quality Assurance Programs: Maintain and improve infection control policies and risk management initiatives.
• Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the Regional Director, Vice President, Clinic Leaders, Medical Director, and surgeons to optimize surgical efficiency.
• Staff Development: Lead and develop a team of RNs, surgical techs, and administrative personnel; manage hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations.
• Foster Patient-Focused Culture: Promote a collaborative environment that prioritizes quality care and efficiency.
• Financial Oversight: Oversee ASC budget, revenue cycle, and financial performance to meet organizational goals.
• Inventory Management: Ensure adequate inventory levels of surgical supplies, coordinating with vendors for cost-effective purchasing.

Qualifications:

• BLS, ACLS qualifications
• Colorado RN License
• Graduate of Accredited Nursing School
• 1 year of experience in the Operating Room
• 3 years of demonstrated progressive responsibility in administration/management and surgical nursing skills
• Proven experience in ASC management, ophthalmology strongly preferred but not required
• Strong knowledge of regulatory compliance and quality assurance standards
• Excellent leadership and team management skills
• Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
