Byington Winery is a Boutique Winery in the Santa Cruz Mountains. Known for our Pinot Noirs, our team also produces some of the finest Sparkling Wines, Sauvignon Blanc, Chardonnay, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cab Franc, Merlot, Petite Verdot and other varietals and blends. Job Summary:

Join our team!! The Events manager position is responsible for driving sales, creating a memorable event experience for guests, and working with the tasting room staff and others to execute all event logistics. The work schedule for this role is Monday through Friday, although event schedules may require an occasional event or weekend shift. In addition to coordinating events, this role requires that all events are executed with Byington Winery's high standards of hospitality.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in event sales, planning and coordination, preferably in the hospitality or wine industry.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to manage multiple events simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in event management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Experience in creating content that drive event attendance and raise community awareness of winery events
- Knowledge of wine and the wine industry is a plus.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required by event schedules.

Physical Requirements:

- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds.
- Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor environments.
