About the Role - the business is growing rapidly, and we are seeking an experienced Field (Service, Repair & Sales) Technician to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring that fire extinguishers are properly stocked, refilled, and tested for safety and compliance. We are seeking a detail-oriented individual who takes pride in their work and is eager to contribute to fire safety. And will be our client representative in the field and incentivized to up-sell to your clients. Fire extinguisher service experience not required. For the right individuals, this will be trained!

Responsibilities:

  • Stock, refill, and recharge fire extinguishers according to industry standards.
  • Provide client with guidance and industry expertise to up-sell in a professional manner.
  • Ability to be the industry expert to maintain existing business and perhaps obtain additional business.
  • Test and inspect fire extinguishers to ensure functionality and compliance.
  • Maintain an organized and well-stocked shop inventory.
  • Perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting on fire extinguishers.
  • Follow safety procedures and regulations at all times.

Qualifications:

  • Experience in fire extinguisher service, mechanical work, or a related field preferred.
  • Technical/Construction experience with a strong customer service / sales mindset and ability to represent the company as an industry expert.
  • Ability to lift and handle heavy equipment.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow procedures.
  • Basic mechanical skills and willingness to learn.
  • Team player with a strong work ethic.
