Hospice Administrator (Hospice Manager)

Nonprofit Hospice Organization

Full-time; Permanent

Eugene, Oregon

HealthCare Recruiters International is recruiting for a Hospice Manager who will oversee the hospice department's day-to-day operational affairs, including its financial health.

Responsibilities:

  • Hospice Manager will oversee
  • the 24-hour operation of the Hospice Department
  • Hospice Manager will understand and comply with applicable accreditation and regulatory requirements governing hospice.
  • Hospice Manager will assess the department's quality from patient care to financial health.
  • Hospice Managers will ensure ongoing training of contracted facilities utilizing hospice services.
  • Hospice Manager will assist with marketing and ensure contracts are updated yearly.
  • Hospice Manager will write and update policies and procedures.
  • Hospice Manager will lead conferences, meetings, and in-services.
  • Hospice will hire, train, coach, counsel, and terminate staff as needed.

Hospice Manager Qualifications:

  • Current Oregon licensure as a Registered Nurse
  • Two years of experience overseeing a hospice department, preferably in a nonprofit organization, but not mandatory.
  • History or success in running the day-to-day operational affairs of a hospice, including the financial aspects of the hospice.

Hospice Manager – Compensation

  • Salary from $98,000 to $150,000 depending on experience
