Job Description

Junior Full Stack Engineer

We’re looking for a full-stack engineer who takes pride in clean, reliable code and thrives on precision. You’ll own the codebase behind our growing platform—building features end-to-end, documenting with care, and setting a high bar for quality and maintainability. You’re adaptive, resourceful, and not afraid to leverage the latest tools to work faster and smarter. This role is for someone who treats each line of code like it's their own.

What You’ll Do

  • You’ll work across backend, frontend, and infrastructure—bringing stability and clarity to every layer.
  • Build features using Rails, Python, JavaScript (React), and both SQL and NoSQL systems. Write code that’s testable, readable, and built to last.
  • Leave behind meaningful commit messages, inline documentation, and process notes. You’re not just building for today—you’re building for whoever picks it up next.
  • Integrate Systems/Build and maintain API connections between our internal tools and external platforms like HubSpot. Handle backend integrations, data flows, and occasional migrations.
  • Support Infrastructure & Uptime - Work within AWS and Heroku environments to maintain reliable deployments and observability. Keep an eye on performance, uptime, and deployment health.
  • Code Securely - Apply sound security practices—especially around auth, access, and data handling. Experience in SOC 2, ISO 27001, or HIPAA environments is a plus.
  • Use modern dev tools, including AI-assisted coding, to move quickly without compromising clarity or quality. Adapt to new challenges and technologies as the platform evolves.

Requirements:

  • 1–5+ years of hands-on full-stack development experience
  • Strong knowledge of Rails, Python, JavaScript (React preferred)
  • Solid understanding of SQL (PostgreSQL/MySQL) and familiarity with NoSQL
  • Comfort with CI/CD pipelines, GitHub workflows, and cloud services like AWS and Heroku
  • API experience, both consuming and building
  • Strong attention to detail—from architecture down to naming conventions
  • Excellent written communication and documentation habits

 Nice to Haves:

  • Experience with HubSpot API, WorkOS, or CRM middleware
  • Exposure to security-focused environments (SOC 2, ISO 27001, HIPAA)
  • Familiarity with multi-tenant SaaS platforms
  • Use of AI tools in your dev workflow (e.g. Copilot, Continue, GPT, Tabnine)
