Everything we do centers on safety, compliance, cost-efficiency, and ultimately, the delivery of exceptional patient care.

The Role: Manager of Biomedical Engineering – Be the Leader Your Team Deserves

We're looking for a hands-on, mission-minded Manager of Biomedical Engineering to lead our Midland-Odessa operations. You’ll be more than a supervisor, you’ll be a mentor, a problem-solver, and a trusted partner to our healthcare clients. This is your chance to combine technical skills, leadership, and heart to build something meaningful while helping healthcare professionals focus on what they do best.

What You’ll Do (aka Your Superpowers):

  • Lead from the Front: Guide and support a team of biomedical technicians, both in the shop and at client sites.
  • Get in the Fight: Perform repairs, preventative maintenance, inspections, and installations across a wide range of clinical equipment.
  • Master the Mission: Prioritize service calls, optimize team workflows, and maintain a clear view of inventory, tools, and equipment readiness.
  • Develop Future HEROes: Coach and mentor technicians to uphold HERO’s high standards of quality and service.
  • Collaborate Like a Pro: Partner with hospital leadership and clinical teams to ensure seamless equipment performance.
  • Guard the Standards: Ensure full compliance with safety regulations, documentation protocols, and Environment of Care audits.

What We’re Looking For:

  • A natural leader with 5+ years of hands-on experience in biomedical equipment maintenance
  • 2+ years in a supervisory or leadership role (preferred but not required, we’ll help the right person grow!)
  • Proven expertise across a variety of diagnostic, monitoring, and treatment devices
  • A communicator who builds trust with technicians, clinicians, and administrators alike
  • Detail-oriented with strong time management and documentation habits
  • Experienced in fast-paced healthcare environments and comfortable juggling priorities
  • Familiar with CMMS systems, MS Office, and regulatory compliance standards (TJC, NFPA, DNV)

Your Origin Story (Education & Certs):

  • Associate’s degree in Biomedical Engineering Technology, Electronic Engineering, or military equivalent (required)
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferred)
  • CBET certification (a big plus, but not required, we’ll support your journey)

Ready to Suit Up?

If you're looking to step into a role that challenges you, grows you, and gives you the chance to be a force for good in healthcare, you’ve found it.

Join HERO. Be the reason technology works, patients stay safe, and hospitals stay running.
