Description Are you an experienced Medical Coder with a passion for accuracy and attention to detail? Do you have a Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) certification and hands-on experience with Surgery Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASC)? If so, we want to hear from you! About the Role: A Surgery Center is seeking a dedicated and skilled CCS Medical Coder to support healthcare organizations by accurately coding medical procedures, diagnoses, and professional services for efficient billing and reimbursement processes. This role is vital in ensuring compliance with regulatory standards while contributing to the success of Surgical ASC operations. Responsibilities: + Accurately assign medical codes (ICD-10, CPT, HCPCS) based on physician documentation and healthcare services rendered. + Review patient notes, operative reports, and medical documentation to ensure proper coding for surgical ASC environments. + Ensure compliance with all coding guidelines, payer policies, and federal regulations. + Collaborate with physicians, billing teams, and administrative units to resolve coding discrepancies. + Maintain up-to-date knowledge of coding standards, policies, and regulatory requirements.
