FPC of Wake Forest has been engaged to locate a Plant Manager for a great client!! This client is well-recognized in their industry and has a strong reputation for the design and manufacture of high-quality products.
So, what will you be doing as Plant Manager?
-Provide oversight and execution of plant operations
-Lead and develop a cross-functional operations team
-Develop and implement a continuous improvement focused culture
-Work to align inventory and labor resources with production needs
-Serve as an advocate for plant safety programs
To be successful, you will need:
-BS in Engineering, Operations, or Business Management
-5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience
-Advanced Excel skills
-Experience with materials management, production planning, and inventory control
-Demonstrated ability to develop and implement a continuous improvement/Lean culture
-Ability to lead directly and through influence
Things considered a plus:
-MBA
-QuickBooks
-Experience working with structural building products
-Six Sigma/Lean certification
