Salary: $85,000 - 120,000 per year Requirements:

• I prefer a Bachelor’s degree in fields such as computer science, cybersecurity, network engineering, mathematics, or a similar area of expertise, along with 5-6 years of experience in information security, cybersecurity, or a related IT position. Professional certifications such as Cisco Certified CyberOps Professional (CCCP), Cisco Certified Network Professional – Security (CCNP Security), Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH), or GIAC Certified Enterprise Defender (GCED) are desirable. The successful candidate will possess fundamental knowledge of networking and security concepts, a keen understanding of the OSI model, and a familiarity with network monitoring tools. Additionally, hands-on technical troubleshooting skills, the ability to work independently, exceptional critical thinking, strong interpersonal skills, and a willingness to learn quickly in various operational environments are essential.

• In this role, I will monitor the security posture and cybersecurity infrastructure for Touchette Regional Hospital and SIHF Healthcare. My responsibilities include developing a comprehensive understanding of the threat landscape, ensuring cybersecurity technologies are in place to identify potential threats, and collaborating with our IS Security Officer and junior team members to guarantee that cybersecurity plans and policies align with our standards. I will conduct root cause analyses of security incidents, develop and maintain documentation for network applications and systems, and perform vulnerability remediation. Engaging in proactive threat intelligence analysis, as well as testing our digital controls, will also be part of my duties. I will need to install and maintain security systems, prepare for on-call support as necessary, and educate various business units on our cybersecurity strategies and protocols. I am expected to provide second-level technical support regarding network and security systems while contributing to IT projects and initiatives.

This full-time position is not just about meeting technical requirements; it also emphasizes the significance of building positive relationships with both internal staff and external vendors. A strong commitment to ongoing learning, teamwork, and attention to detail will be crucial in this role. I will be required to follow safety protocols by wearing personal protective equipment (PPE) when needed and may occasionally need to lift or move items weighing up to 50 pounds, with assistance for heavier loads.
