DENTAL ADVISOR has over 300 Clinical Advisors Nationwide, a State-of-the-art Biomaterials Research Center in Ann Arbor, MI, and has supported the dental profession as an independent, third-party research organization reporting evidence-based data relating to clinical and laboratory properties of dental products and equipment for over 40 years. 

We are looking for a highly experienced bookkeeper with over 10 years of accounting experience. The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in accounts receivable, accounts payable, auditing, reconciliations, financial reporting, as well as projections and forecasting. Proficiency in QuickBooks Online is essential, and experience with HubSpot & Ariba is preferred. This is a Part-Time, Contract Position. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: 

• Manage and maintain accurate financial records.
• Perform monthly reconciliations and generate financial reports.
• Utilize systems such as Ariba to collect payments from manufacturing clients.
• Follow up on past-due invoices on a monthly basis.
• Assist in financial projections and forecasting.
• Collaborate directly with the VP of Operations and company owners.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies.
• Maintain organized and up-to-date financial files.
• Support budgeting, audits, and tax preparation as needed.

Qualifications and Experience:

• 10+ years of experience in accounting.
• Strong background in accounts receivable, accounts payable, auditing, and reconciliations.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
• Bachelors Degree in related field

Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with CRM systems (Hubspot preferred)
• Experience with payment collection systems such as Ariba

Preferred:

• Master’s Degree
• Located in Ann Arbor, Michigan, but open to remote candidates within the U.S.
