Job Description:
In this role, you will be a key member of the Chromatography and Mass Spectrometry Finance team. The position reports to the Sr. Finance Manager. You'll use your outstanding analysis and communication skills to provide important reports, forecasts, and analyses to support the business.
Primary Responsibilities:
• Partner closely with colleagues to provide OPEX forecasting, reporting, and project support to meet business unit goals.
• Support the month end close and forecast process.
• Produce monthly and weekly reports, which include key performance indicators (KPI's), financial results, and variance reporting.
• Orchestrate the annual and monthly budgeting and forecasting process.
• Collaborate with BU leaders as a finance business partner to functional group(s).
• Seek opportunities for performance and process improvement across the organization and participate in projects to drive continuous improvement.
• Support analytics for new products and business cases, return on investment.
• Support automation and simplification projects.
• Develop models that help with decision-making.
• Partner with management teams and finance team on ad hoc requests and projects.
• CAPEX, depreciation.
• Produce weekly and monthly Backlog/Bookings/Revenue reporting
• Produce monthly HC reporting
• AD-HOC
How will you get here:
Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting or related subject area.
5+ years of experience in Finance related field.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
• Advanced MS Suite Skills (Excel, PowerPoint, etc) - NEED TO BE EXPERT IN EXCEL TO COMPLETE TASK IN A FAST MANNER!
• Proficiency with data reporting and visualization tools such as Power BI.
• Experience with enterprise systems such as Oracle, SAP, Hyperion, SFDC, Workday, Microsoft Navision etc.
• Strong interpersonal, teamwork and presentation skills.
• Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Keen attention to detail and ability to balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• High learning agility and desire for continuous learning.
• Able to work independently and willing to work extra hours during the financial calendar.
• Excellent communication skills. An ability to summarize information and present it in a concise and effective manner to influence management.
