Our Maintenance Team plays a vital role in that mission. We are currently looking for a hands-on, reliable, and safety-focused Maintenance Technician to help maintain the day-to-day operations of one of our multifamily apartment communities.

About the Role:

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for completing resident work orders, supporting preventative maintenance efforts, and ensuring that all building systems, equipment, and grounds are in excellent condition. This role is ideal for a self-motivated professional with experience in electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and general repairs, who enjoys solving problems and keeping things running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities:

•Respond promptly to service requests and work orders, ensuring quality repairs and excellent resident service.

•Perform general maintenance duties, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance repair, painting, and carpentry.

•Assist in maintaining HVAC systems and troubleshooting performance issues.

•Support preventive maintenance programs and seasonal inspections as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.

•Use diagnostic tools (voltmeters, ohmmeters, etc.) to identify and resolve system issues.

•Complete unit turnovers including repairs, painting, and cleaning to prepare apartments for new residents.

•Maintain building exteriors and common areas, keeping the property clean, safe, and welcoming.

•Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours maintenance emergencies.

•Report potential safety hazards, code violations, and maintenance needs to the Maintenance Supervisor.

•Ensure compliance with company policies, OSHA standards, and safety procedures.

What We’re Looking For:

•Previous experience in property maintenance, facilities, or skilled trades is preferred.

•Working knowledge of building systems including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliances.

•Comfortable using diagnostic tools and hand/power tools safely.

•Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

•Good communication skills and a resident-first mindset.

•Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

•HVAC certification (EPA) and/or pool certification (CPO) a plus.

•Must be able to lift up to 50lbs, work in varying indoor/outdoor conditions, and respond to emergency calls as needed.
